• A poetry book of deep intrusive thoughts
• Overcoming sexual trauma (SA)
• Mental illness and alcoholism
• Finding hope in-between
As this is my first published book, I hope this helps free me of the thoughts I never thought would be seen. My only wish would be to show others that they too have a voice that has the strength to be heard-one word at a time.
To those that need it-a trigger warning for the whole damn thing. To my family and (some) friends who don't already know about the contents inside these pages, you're not obligated to read this. However, I won't speak to you about it otherwise.
I appreciate you taking the time to read my book. So you know a heavy glimpse into my story, but here's a better bit more. I took a lot of time off to publish this book and was able to spend every second of it with my dog, Shadow. The picture on the back of this book is of him and I at our oasis in the mountains of North Carolina. It's always a blessing to be here with him in tow. Nobody knows me here and still they smile and wave. The perfect country town to simply exhale in.
