Katie Hassell is a wife and mother of three wonderful boys. She lives in North Texas with her family and two playful dogs. With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Katie was able to see first hand how the power of words and colorful imagination could captivate a young audience. Katie's personal life has taken her through many adventures giving her a unique perspective that adds to her passion of storytelling. When Katie is not writing or at work in her classroom, she can be found working in her garden or simply sitting in a lounge chair soaking up the sun, all the while thinking of ideas for her next project.
