About The Book

In her debut poetry collection, Amelia delves into the complex mental wars that ensue after a breakup. She encapsulates the struggle of trying to process losing someone whilst still being in love with them. Amelia showcases the conflicting emotions of despondency and nostalgia. Throughout her storytelling, she conveys her healing journey and realizing that life will actually move forward; and that it is a good thing.

About The Author

Christine Amelia grew up in a small town in Connecticut with her parents, grandparents, and siblings. She moved across the country to Utah at 18 to pursue her education at Utah State University. Amelia has always been a passionate and ambitious writer now 20; with Somewhere in La La Land being her first published poetry collection.
