About The Author

Ayşe Rahel Baykan holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Classical Archaeology. Her passion for history and the mysteries of ancient civilizations is deeply shaped by the global perspectives she gained through travels to different countries.

She began her literary journey at the age of 14, and by 18, captivated readers across Turkiye with a science-fiction novel that sold 27,000 copies.

In addition to her novels, she is a writer of short stories and poetry, earning first-place honors for five stories and six poems in national competitions in Turkiye. Deeply engaged with politics and cultural diversity, her works intertwine individual struggles with the broader dynamics of society.

Set in Turkiye ~a land bridging Asia and Europe, surrounded by Russia, the Middle East, Iran, and Iraq~ this story delves into the geopolitical complexities and rich historical legacy of a region often called the crossroads of the world.
