In this first installment of the Witch’s Tarot trilogy, in a world quite like our own, Dr. Gerard, the head of the Navea Dwighton Asylum for the Mentally Afflicted, discovers that one of his patients has disappeared under some very unnatural circumstances. A lengthy letter, later found in the patient’s room, addressed to Dr. Gerard only, seems to be just as mysterious as the patient’s disappearance. Reluctantly, the doctor begins to read the strange letter that develops into a tale, from decades before, that is as enticing as it is frightening.

Delve into the pages of the letter, my dear reader, with Dr. Gerard, to a valley where time seems to almost stand still, where ancient sorcery is just as much a part of the present as it is the past, where hearts are broken and mended, and where rage and revenge reign. It is a tale filled with powerful magic and hopeless desperation, intimate love and undying hatred, vengeful wrath and moments of euphoric bliss.

From the enchanted garden full of mystical creatures to the mysterious disappearance of an entire valley’s population, Dr. Gerard all but truly witnesses the bizarre events that unfolded during that winter in the valley with the Witch.

But will he survive long enough to finish the letter and discover the true purpose behind it, or will the Witch ensure that he cannot?

About The Author

KRISTIN BURCHETT is a stay-at-home wife and mother, who is happily married to her husband, William, of more than a decade. Both born and raised in the hills of eastern Kentucky, it is where they have chosen to raise their six wonderful children. Her passion lies in writing tales of fantasy and terror. Though this novel is her first publication, The Witch’s Tarot: The Tower is only the first in her trilogy.
