In her death bed (Val) a dying grandmother writes her secret life story for her granddaughter (Ivy). Ivy receives a big wooden box with these letters and more interesting items after receiving her grandmothers Will. As Ivy takes off work to read these letters, she slowly realizes she opened the Pandora box of who her grandmother truly was. These letters start off with grandma Val at the age of twelve in North Dakota, USA in the early 1900's going through serious trials of tribulations while eventually becoming a professional violinist and a professional assassin. This book has mystery, humor, sadness, happiness, drama, action and beauty.
