About The Book

This is a book about my journey of having a baby at an advanced maternal age. I set the foundation by providing context around my upbringing, career and ultimately the decision to have a baby. It also gives a very real perspective about what all I went through emotionally and physically to have my miracle baby.

About The Author

Jennifer Shebib is a wife, mother, and lifelong advocate for personal independence. She is married to her husband, Brad, and together they share one son, Nicholas, who keeps life joyful and wonderfully busy. Their family is rounded

out by two beloved rescue dogs, Casey and Charlie.

Raised in the suburbs of Michigan, Jennifer grew up in a multigenerational home with her mother, grandmother, and sister. With her mom working full time as a single parent, Jennifer learned early the value of self reliance and hard work—principles that shaped both her character and her ambitions. Determined to build a strong foundation for herself, she worked full time while attending college, ultimately earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.

Jennifer went on to build a successful twenty plus year career in recruiting and talent acquisition, most recently serving as Executive Recruiting Manager at regional bank. When her role was eliminated following an acquisition, she found herself with something she hadn’t had in years: time. That unexpected pause opened the door to a long imagined creative pursuit, ultimately inspiring the book you now hold.
