Aria Jackson's first collection of poems, From Here to There: An indescribable point in life, explores a transitional period of self-discovery amid the societal challenges of a chaotic world.

Following her move to New Orleans in 2019, she candidly addresses personal themes of love, joy and pain while navigating her identity in the wake of the pandemic and during the Black Lives Matter movement. Aria's passion for acting shines in her writing, where character-driven poems amplify the voices of underrepresented communities and capture emotion filled observations.

About The Author

Aria Jackson was born in Washington DC, and is an actress, model, poet and performer now based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Having begun writing poetry at an early age, Aria fell in love with storytelling in its many forms and is excited to release her debut book of poems, introducing innocent emotions of a young Black woman navigating life as an adult. Holding a degree in Theater Arts from Loyola University New Orleans, Aria is thrilled to publish a timeless body of work at the age of 23 that will resonate across generations of experiences.
