Diary of a Hopeless Romantic is first person poetry narrative that follows the emotional journey of learning to differentiate between limerence and love. The narrator begins to recognize unhealthy relationship patterns within oneself and chooses to move forward despite repeated heartache as she falls for tropes in a new city in her early adult life.
The writer’s goal is to evoke a sense of self reflection within the reader that allows them to review their own adventures into early adulthood and redefine expectations for what a relationship means.
Fredly Lenora Weaver is a Canadian American who lives a semi nomadic lifestyle. Moving to a new location every few years to find home, she came to the conclusion that home is where ever you are. First published in Scholastics Rising Stars 2018 she has spent the last few years cultivating her craft. While writing first started as a way to process her feelings, it turned into a way to bring people together.
